Green Counters at Asda

December 20, 2017

We were very fortunate that our fellow committee member Paul Hambleton contacted Asda and got us nominated as one of the charities for the green counter initiative. Throughout December, with your help the green counters piled in to our collection box, the first one rapidly filled and then you continued to fill the second. We were successful in the outcome and Asda donated £500.00 to the hospital, the cheque was presented to us on 3 March. We have you to thank.

In addition Asda afforded us the opportunity to do a bucket collection in their foyer this took place on Friday March 3 and we raised over £100.00.

Below are photographs from the day we did the collection and the presentation of the cheque from Shelley the Community Life Champion at Asda.
