On the afternoon (10th December), Lauren and Natasha from Daisy Chain Entertainment brought Pantomime into the Hospital.
A full house of Patients, their Families and Friends together with staff watched Rapunzel. The show was enjoyed by all, accompanied by boos and shouts of 'knickers' ! Yes all part of the show with the audience having to shout out knickers any time someone touched Rapunzel's doll!
As the curtain fell for the last time is was followed by tea and cakes before everyone departed.
This is just another of the many things provide for the hospital, its Patients and Staff and it is only because of their hard working committee and volunteers and the continuing support from the public for 'OUR' Hospital.
You can find us next at the Coffee Morning at the Methodist Church on the 21st December. This is going to be a special event so make sure the date is in your diaries!
Some of us will be in the Hospital on Christmas Day morning singing carols and making sure that Father Christmas is able to give every patient a present paid for from our funds.
May I on behalf of us all wish you all a Very Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year.
